Aven Colony

In this PC game, the human race has started to explore the space in search of a new home. This is where Aven prime jumps into play. It is a lush world brimming with all kinds of resources and wildlife. It looks like the perfect place to start anew. You’re in the role of planetary governor. 

Your responsibility is to aid in developing a new and thriving community in Aven’s unique atmosphere. Additionally, you’ll need to develop and regulate your settlement, track your resources, and go beyond your city in this brave new world. With the human race in your hands, will your colony flourish or go to ruin?

In Aven Colony, your teenager will build and maintain a futuristic colony on an alien planet. They will need to navigate through many evolving statistics, monitor the colony’s different needs, and work on the fly to create a powerful community that is able to survive the harsh off-world atmosphere. Violence is low, as your teenager will have to defend against aliens with defensive structures. Plus, light profanity can pop up in dialogue.

World of Warcraft Shadowlands

What to say about the game that remains to be popular and successful even after 16 years of being released. Of course, it’s not the biggest around but has been consistently stacking subscription revenue and expansion pack sales for a long time.

Here, your teenager will explore the fabled world of Azeroth, protecting it from various threats from Demons and other, more menacing monsters. The first 50 levels follow the story from previous WoW expansions. However, getting from 50 to 60 is fast in Shadowlands. World of Warcraft has accomplished a shift from being a meandering series of jumping from one quest hub to another quest hub to becoming a narrative structure that is familiar to any latest RPG or open-world game. 

There is a “critical” story path your teenager will follow most of their time, plus a host of optional side quests that will keep them entertained for hours. Once they reach the maximum level and select their Covenant, the game begins anew. They will go through the Covenant quest campaign and explore different features — a good range of them in particular for the selected Covenant. If they want to explore the world faster, they can always use the WoW boost that lets them skip the boring parts of the game. Violence and profanity are present in the game.

The Sims 4: Get Famous

The Sims 4: Get Famous represents a paid expansion to the Sims 4. Your teenager will need to own the base game in order to play it. Just like with other Sims games, this expansion tries to simulate your everyday life. From eating, going to the bathroom, working, owning a pet, starting a family, to joining a frat house.

This expansion focuses on, as you guessed it, on becoming famous. This forces your Sims to be a little more outgoing and watch out for their online lives and how they look. How Sim behaves is entirely up to your teenager. The Sims can engage in romantic relationships, flirt with other characters in the game. Even have sex — called “woohoo” in the game. Fortunately, the juicy details are hidden.

While other Sims expansions only add minor few details to scenery and new items, Get Famous comes with new mechanics that significantly change the entire gaming experience for the better. The famous Fame meter brings an interesting new dimension to almost everything your Sim does, whether it’s cooking or just going about their daily lives.

Anthem

There are a lot of games like Anthem. Games that bring meaningful multiplayer gameplay and progress after you pass lots of story quests. Fortunately, Anthem’s endgame content is unexpectedly fun. This is because it brings excellent fighting that is boosted with interesting loot and different challenges. 

The game takes place on the wild planet of Bastion, a huge and vivid sci-fi experience brimming with aggressive monsters, different enemy factions, and ancient shaper relics. Your teenager will play as a Freelancer, a do-good soldier of fortune who pilots an exo-suit named Javelin.
