It is very common that a responsible person wants to juggle amongst work stress, healthy diet, relationships, their overall mental & physical health. Rarely do we see others successfully carry this out. We’re not claiming that it’s a quick process.  And it’s very much possible, the crucial factor being consistency. People still try to comprehend what will go inside their bodies but completely neglect the area of mental health.  

To suitably work our brain we need to keep it well-fed. Deficiency in vitamin B, zinc, magnesium, iron, selenium, etc can lead to clinical depression, poor memory, cognitive confusion.

Generic illnesses due to poor food habits : 

Are you one of those people that wait for including good foods to gain weight? To be very honest there is no ‘right or wrong when it comes to organic food.

You can eat what suits your body and not be rigid with your diet.

The onset of fatal health problems rises with taking dreadful lifestyle choices. This can be generalized into three sections neglected diets, physical stagnation.

Diseases like type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, COPD, etc.

The absence of vitamin B1 can cause insomnia, irritability, and other symptoms.

A bunch of us lose patience in our wellness journey and take things into our wrong hands like people with overweight problems tend to restrict their diets without understanding much about food & nutrition. There’s also the use of lipozene which is a diet pill focusing on fat loss. 

Cultivating food habits :

The stepping stone for building good health must always constitute a balanced diet. Us not being able to choose what goes into our system is another obstacle.

Research shows that an averagely functioning adult needs 40 different nutrients if not more to keep the vital organs running. So if you can squeeze in all five food groups ( grains, protein, dairy, fruits ).

If you’re trying to lose/gain weight then do not skip breakfast as there now there are healthy fast food breakfast options available.

If you are eating 2000/2500 kcal every day then at least get two balanced meals out of it or there are good foods to gain weight like nut butter, rice, potatoes, etc that work in an organic way.

Unless you have some kind of allergies or are prohibited by your doctor please try to have variety in what you choose to eat, replace with seasonal vegetables and fruit instead of going for the same old regulars like tomatoes, eggplant, etc.

Stress Management :

If you’re a person who thinks that stress is solely an emotional thing then you might be very wrong.

Doctors have reported a number of death that was indirectly caused by chronic stress.

So, if you can identify certain stressors that affect you here are some techniques that could help you channel it differently :

* Practice meditation

* Time management between your personal & work life

* Make a habit of doing Yoga

* Create a thoughts-only journal

Exercising doesn’t have to take all your time :

Yes, it is precisely true that every one of us needs to be moderately active even if we can’t manage to fit in an intense workout regime.

The human body has evolved this way for a reason and we maintain our health. An average human should walk about 3-4 miles i.e 7,000 to 8,000 steps per day.

Stretching exercises don’t burn a lot of calories but are intensely effective in reaching every little nook of your body. Creating a morning routine instead of working out in between work hours can help store a lot of energy.
