- Open a computer, mobile device, or laptop and launch your preferred internet browser in it.
- Enter mywifiext.net carefully into your internet browser’s address bar.
- Netgear Genie setup page displays.

- After that, you can move your Netgear Nighthawk extender to a new location that is about halfway between your existing WiFi router and the area without WiFi.
- If you get no internet connection or a poor connection then move your extender closer to your WiFi router and try again until the Link Status LED lights solid green.
