Like It Or Not, Automation Is For Real

The fear of technological change is as old as technology itself, especially when it comes to reducing the need for human intervention. This is what various industries are currently observing with automation, which is speculated as a threat to the workforce. We cannot deny the fact that innovative technologies such as automation cause disruption in existing industries and in turn the lives of individuals are affected too. Each week, there is new research about how robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have the potential of decreasing the need for humans in various industries. Similarly, a test automation company leverages the true potential of automation, but the need for manual testers is not discouraged. With automation, most of the tiresome and repetitive tasks are simplified so that testers can focus on other areas of quality improvement.

Automation can be a Threat to Human Labor

The collective obsession with job-stealing robots causes threats to human labor. Yet, human labor remains a mark of luxury in many industries including these best software testing companies. So, simultaneously these robots destroy many jobs, and the demand for labor services is affected. This rise in demand for automation makes many people wonder how they would survive and raises questions about their professional careers. However, there are more reasons for being optimistic about automation than for fear.

RPA Eases-Off Burden on Humans

Firstly, new technologies often lower the overall costs while improving product quality. It also helps a test automation company in delivering quality products with the help of automated tests. For instance, the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software helps in reducing mundane administrative tasks by mimicking human actions and performing repetitive tasks efficiently. Automation related to data recording and documentation is mostly needed in the healthcare sector, where experts spend most of their time on administrative tasks causing higher premiums. Doctors are required to spend time entering notes into the electronic health records (EHR) than attending patients with the daily medical care they require.  RPA helps medical physicians by lessening their burden and focus on providing healthcare services.

Automation Opens Doors to New Jobs

Automation eliminates costs across various industry verticals. It removes the burden of the lower and middle-class families by lowering the cost for healthcare, car repairs and food. Thus, consumers can afford more basic necessities with this saved money and increase the demand for new high tech products. This improves the economy by increasing the quality of life.

Secondly, new technologies tend to create new jobs. The higher demand for new products increases the demands for workers with skills to develop, refine and use those goods. It is fair to say that the rise of new innovative products makes the older ones obsolete, but at the same time eliminate the need for typists and human calculators. A test automation company also utilizes true potential of automation and allows developers, testers and QA engineers to focus on product quality improvement.
