Sequence step of working of any building contraction

Every building contractor company in Delhi NCR has a different working system. The sequence of work that differs from being followed in the construction of any building is the essential procedure of construction. Some f the major sequences of construction are concreting, marking, excavation, roof laying, brick masonry, finishing, and flooring. Let us study the sequences of any building construction civil company in Delhi in brief:

  1. Paperwork: construction of any residential building required paperwork before the starting of the actual construction. The paper works are preparation of drawings, labor cost, estimation of material cost, approval of drawing from city development authority.
  2. Excavation: generally, excavation is also carried out for any construction of the wall foundations. Excavation could be carried out as per the drawings defined widths and lengths. Suitable machines are also used to excavate the earth for the making of foundation.
  3. Marking of the layout: all the approved planned boundaries are married in the ground outside, and inside the layout is cleaned. After the completion layout has been marked on the ground with all the accurate orientation and dimension.
  4. Working on the foundation: foundational work consists of different sub works that are:
    1. Compacting ground: the excavation holes are dressed and trimmed as per the requirement, and also, the bottom is compacted using the hand compactors.
    2. PCC: to have a solid base at which the reinforcement could be tied and also footing could be placed. Plain cement and concrete of the mixing ratio 1:4:8 or 1:3:6 is laid over the compacted soil in varying depth as required.
    3. Shuttering: to have a properly shaped concrete, shuttering needs to be done as per the dimensions mentioned within the drawing. It could also be done so that the concrete does not come in direct contact with the soil.
    4. Footing reinforcement: reinforcing steel bars are done by tiring them together and placed on to the PCC to form a skeleton on which concrete could be poured, and the column rods could be taken from them.
    5. Footing concrete: this is very necessary to check all the levels of foundation before concrete work. There were patches that are excavated depth slightly exceeded or vice versa.
  5. Column casting: the casting of the column has been made by fixing the shuttering framework and, after that, pouring concrete on to that framework. Then it has been removed after 24hrs.
  6. Construction of walls: walls have been conducted using many materials such as wooden, bricks, precast concrete. Before starting the construction of the walls, the base of walls has been constructed first using size stone masonry or concrete. The height of the walls depends upon the floor height.
  7. Lintel: masonry work of building is also carried out in one go until the roof. Opening for the windows and doors that are left during the masonry works. Reinforced cement concrete beams are laid down on the top of the opening.
  8. Roofing: roof slabs of the building are poured after the completion of masonry works. Roofing is of reinforced cement concrete slab. Slab reinforcement and thickness details should be according to approved drawing.
